Research summary

This blend combines two compounds that act on different receptors at the same target cell: ipamorelin, a selective GHS-R1a agonist, and CJC-1295 without DAC, a stabilised GHRH(1-29) analogue. The pairing exists because the two pathways are complementary rather than redundant, and studying them together addresses a question neither answers alone. GHRH receptor activation increases the synthesis and readiness of growth hormone within the somatotroph; GHS-R1a activation amplifies the amount released per pulse and suppresses somatostatin's inhibitory tone. Published work on GHRH-analogue and GHRP co-administration describes a response greater than the sum of the two given separately, and this combination is the most commonly examined version of that synergy — largely because ipamorelin's selectivity keeps the corticotroph confounds of the older GHRPs out of the experiment. Both components are assayed individually and the blend verified by RP-HPLC and LC-MS, with the batch certificate covering both peptides.

Handling & reconstitution

Supplied as a co-lyophilised powder — both peptides are present in the single cake, so there is nothing to combine at the bench. Bring the vial to room temperature before opening. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water added down the vial wall. Handle to the standard of the more delicate component: the 29-residue CJC chain is the shear-sensitive one, so swirl gently and do not shake or vortex, even though the ipamorelin fraction would tolerate it. The solution should finish clear and colourless.

Storage

Lyophilised: -20 °C, sealed, dry and protected from light. Reconstituted: 2–8 °C, used within approximately two to three weeks. The window is set by the CJC-1295 component, which degrades faster in solution than ipamorelin does — the blend is only as stable as its least stable constituent. Do not freeze once reconstituted.
