Research summary
This blend pairs BPC-157 and TB-500 in a single vial. The two are frequently examined together because their described mechanisms address different and sequential stages of tissue repair rather than duplicating one another. TB-500 acts on the cytoskeleton, sequestering G-actin and influencing the filament dynamics that allow cells to migrate into a site of injury. BPC-157 acts on the vascular and signalling side, with published work describing VEGFR2 upregulation, angiogenic response and effects on fibroblast adhesion and migration through focal adhesion kinase pathways. Cell migration without vascular supply, and vascular supply without cell migration, each stall — which is the rationale for studying the combination. The preclinical literature on the pairing is smaller than on either compound alone and remains an active area. Both peptides are assayed separately before blending, and the finished lot is verified by RP-HPLC and LC-MS with a certificate covering both components.
Handling & reconstitution
Supplied as a co-lyophilised powder containing both peptides — nothing needs to be combined at the bench. Bring to room temperature before opening. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water added down the vial wall and swirl gently. Both constituents are highly water-soluble and dissolve quickly together; the blend is no more difficult to handle than either peptide individually. The solution should finish clear and colourless.
Storage
Lyophilised: -20 °C, sealed and dry. Reconstituted: 2–8 °C, used within approximately four weeks. Both components are comparatively stable in solution, so the blend does not carry the shortened window that mixed-stability blends usually do. Keep refrigerated, protect from light, and avoid freeze-thaw cycling.
